Building Community Through Events and Education

Please note, that unless otherwise specified, all of our events are 19+.

Temptrik was created with three main goals in mind:

To enrich and build the local community for the benefit of all it’s members.
To create an inclusive place for curious people from all walks of life to engage in our lifestyle safely.
To throw events our members love and want to keep coming back to.

To help accomplish these goals Temptrik runs events to act as a community hub for the local community. We run in person and online educational workshops, peer to peer skill sharing circles, parties and other events. Temptrik strives to create new and exciting events for our members.

We at Temptrik would like to acknowledge that we are holding these gatherings on the unceded territory of the K’omoks First Nation and offer our gratitude to the K’omoks, Pentlach, Homalco, Wei Wei Kai, Wei Wei Kim, and Tia’amin peoples.

Ongoing Events

We have monthly play parties from September to May, an annual BDSM Pride Night in June/July and a Conference during the Summer (usually September Long Weekend).

Step beyond the veil and into a realm of moss-covered altars, mischievous fae, devoted knights, forest nymphs, satyrs, and sovereign woodland queens…

On March 14, the Courtenay Elks Lodge transforms into an Enchanted Forest — a night of connection, play, ritualized devotion, and high fantasy mischief.

Whether you arrive crowned in antlers, cloaked in velvet and fur, adorned in leather and lace, or dressed as a wandering woodland soul, you are invited to step into fantasy and explore your power. Plain/street clothes are also allowed, the themes are just for fun.

🌿 Workshop: Building Intimacy in Dominance & Submissive Scenes

7:00–8:00 PM
Led by Lady Aquila

Intimacy is the heart of powerful D/s dynamics. In this interactive workshop, Lady Aquila will explore how to cultivate emotional depth, trust, and presence within scenes — whether you are new to the path or deep in your practice. Learn how to build connection that lingers long after the scene ends.

Mingle, connect, and find your fellow forest dwellers before the dungeon opens.

Most of our events are held at Elk’s Hall in Courtenay, though some also take place in Campbell River, Union Bay and other communities on Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.
